An oasis of colors and fragrances weaved in a royal palace
From a conventionnal garden design throught to a more modern interpretation of what the royal garden must be, we focused mainly on the tastes and royal needs.
The brief focuses on the palace gardens for the queen of Jeddah. The existing landscape, discribed as old and too simple, had to be renewed to match the modern tastes of the queen.
Therefore, we proposed to reinforce the majesty of the gardens by creating a strong central axis. The stimulation and excitement focuses on the divers surprises and ambiances that compose the landscape.
Laureat of the competition, we had to develop design options to better fit with the needs.
The project is still on hold.
« The gardens are composed in sequences, the majestic arrival, the courtyards, the terraces, and the great garden. »
